About
Farhan was born in India and raised in Dubai before moving to Canada for university. He has a background in civil engineering, but filmmaking is the work he's chosen to pursue. He builds structures by day, and stories by night.
His work is built around emotion, atmosphere, and human conflict, often exploring memory, identity, loneliness, ambition, and the quiet moments people usually hide. He is drawn to stories that feel personal, cinematic, and grounded in something real.
Farhan writes, directs, shoots, edits, and color grades his own films, building each project from the first idea to the final frame. Working independently has shaped his style: resourceful, intentional, and deeply hands-on.
His approach is simple: make every frame mean something, make every story feel human, and create films that stay with the viewer after they end.
Actor since 2016, Farhan first trained on stage in Dubai through the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) at Shez's Dramatic Adventures, completing Grades 3, 6, 7, and 8 by 2020.
He began with school theatre, performing in stage productions before moving into short films and independent work in Canada. He has acted in two short films and continues to build his craft through the films he writes, shoots, directs, and edits himself.
Farhan's performances are rooted in restraint, presence, and emotional truth. He is drawn to a wide range of characters, from quiet, internal roles to more intense, expressive performances. His work is driven by tension, conflict, and moments that feel lived-in rather than performed.
